The XPM NoC contains the following parameters:

Table 1. XPM NoC Parameters
Parameter Description
NOC_FABRIC The required NMU/NSU of the given device available values for selected XPMs.
xpm_nmu_mm Allowed values are pl or pl_hbm. Default value is pl. pl_hbm for memory mapped NMUs interacting with HBM memory available in some devices.
xpm_nsu_mm

xpm_nsu_strm

xpm_nmu_strm

Allowed value pl. Default value is pl. pl for NMUs and NSUs distributed throughout the NoC fabric.
DATA_WIDTH AXI Channel Data Width
xpm_nmu_mm

xpm_nsu_mm

32, 64, 128, 256, and 512. Default value is 512.
xpm_nmu_strm

xpm_nsu_strm

128, 256, 512. Default value is 512.
ADDR_WIDTH AXI Channel Address Width
xpm_nmu_mm

xpm_nsu_mm

Allowed values are from 12 to 64. Default value is 64.
xpm_nmu_strm

xpm_nsu_strm

Not applicable for streaming interfaces.
ID_WIDTH AXI Channel ID PORT Width
xpm_nmu_mm Allowed values are 1 to 16. Default value is 16.
xpm_nsu_mm Allowed values only 2. Default value is 2.
xpm_nmu_strm Allowed values are 1 to 16. Default value is 16.
xpm_nsu_strm Allowed values are 1 to 6. Default value is 6.
AUSER_WIDTH AXI Channel Address User Width
xpm_nmu_mm

xpm_nsu_mm

Allowed values are 16 and 18, which disables/enables parity, respectively. Default value is 16.
xpm_nmu_strm

xpm_nsu_strm

Not applicable
DST_ID_WIDTH AXI Channel DST Port Width
xpm_nmu_mm

xpm_nsu_mm

Not applicable
xpm_nmu_strm

xpm_nsu_strm

Allowed values are 1 to 10. Default value is 4.
DUSER_WIDTH User-defined Width for USER Bits
xpm_nmu_mm

xpm_nsu_mm

Allowed values 2*DATA_WIDTH/8 if parity is enabled and 1. Default value is 1.

xpm_nsu_mm

Allowed values true and false. Default value is false.
xpm_nmu_strm

xpm_nsu_strm

Not applicable
SIDEBAND_PINS Parameter to enable/disable AXI sideband pins. Sideband pins are low-order bits added to the AXI USER field, without affecting the contents of the USER field, that are typically used to pass parity or SMID information through the AXI network.
xpm_nmu_mm

xpm_nsu_mm

Allowed values false, true, addr, and data. Default value is false.
Definition of available values:
  • true: Drive AXI sideband parity signals over Address and Data User ports
  • addr: Drive AXI sideband parity signals over Address User ports
  • data: Drive AXI sideband parity signals over Data User ports
  • false: Disable driving AXI sideband parity signals over Address or Data User ports
xpm_nmu_strm

xpm_nsu_strm
