This chapter explains the bare-metal software development for the RPU and APU using the AMD Vitis™ IDE as well as Linux software development for the APU using Yocto tools.
The following figure shows the basic software development flow for Versal devices using the legacy PetaLinux tools, for EDF Development flows.
