GTs provide several protocols for high-speed interfaces, such as Ethernet and Aurora IP. Versal adaptive SoC features the XPIPE mechanism to connect the PCIe block to the GT at high speed. PL-based IP and PS-based IP share XPIPE and GTs. Examples include CPM4, Ethernet, and Aurora links for debug. For Versal adaptive SoC, GT components change from Common/Channel to a quad granularity.
