You can create bootable images using Bootgen. In the AMD Vitis™ IDE, use the Create Boot Image menu option to create the boot image. For details, refer to Bootgen User Guide (UG1283).
Use the following steps to create a bootable image:
- In the Explorer view, select the Application Project.
- Select Create Boot Image to open the
Create Boot Image dialog box.
- Follow these steps to configure the boot image settings:
- Specify the bootloader
- Add the required partitions
- Set the Output BIF File Path
- Set the Output
Image path
- Click Create Image to generate the boot image. The BOOT.BIN file is generated in the specified output directory.
