You can create bootable images using Bootgen. In the AMD Vitis™ IDE, use the Create Boot Image menu option to create the boot image. For details, refer to Bootgen User Guide (UG1283).

Use the following steps to create a bootable image:

  1. In the Explorer view, select the Application Project.
  2. Select Create Boot Image to open the Create Boot Image dialog box.

  3. Follow these steps to configure the boot image settings:
    1. Specify the bootloader
    2. Add the required partitions
    3. Set the Output BIF File Path
    4. Set the Output Image path

  4. Click Create Image to generate the boot image. The BOOT.BIN file is generated in the specified output directory.
