After building the application, you can connect to the target board and run the application.
Follow these preliminary steps before running the application:
  1. Connect the JTAG Cable to the host machine.
  2. Set the board Boot Mode switch to JTAG Mode.
  3. Connect the USB UART Cable and configure the UART Console.
  4. Turn on the Board.

Follow these steps to connect to the target:

  1. Open Debug Settings from the Vitis IDE.

  2. Under Target Connection, select New.
  3. Enter the Connection Name and Host Details and click Test Connection to verify connectivity.
  4. Click OK to save the settings.
  5. Click Run to execute the application on the target and observe the output on the UART console.
