Your carrier card should provide:

• The SOM main power supply (+5V power rail).
• The V_CCO power rails for the programmable logic (PL) HPIO and HDIO banks on the SOM.
• Optionally, the carrier card can supply an external battery power to the V_{CC_BATT} pin for real-time clock (RTC) battery backup power.
