Scalar RTP data analysis in the Trace view allows you to cross probe from a specific scalar
input/output RTP port in the Graph view to the appropriate position in the trace
Events view. You can trace
RTP data as it is being read or written during the kernel execution. To perform data
analysis on a RTP port, use the following steps.
- Click the RTP port of the kernel in the Graph view, as shown below.
- Switch to Trace
view. The selected port highlights. The Events view also shows the RTP data read and write
operations by the kernel. Put the cursor at the beginning of the RTP data in
Trace view to
highlight the cycle in Events view, as shown below. Note: You can analyze scalar input, inout synchronous, and asynchronous RTP data in the Trace view. Vector RTP data cannot be visualized.
