  1. In the left panel, click /axi_noc2_N/ddrmc for the GCM controller.
  2. Check Enable XMPU.
  3. Review ACE-calculated values:
    Metadata Size
    =Reserved GCM Data Size/4.
    Maximum GCM data size
    ≈ Total Memory * 4/5 - Rounding Error.
  4. Set Reserved GCM Data Size ≤ Maximum GCM data size before adding GCM destinations. This prevents over-allocation.
  5. Optionally enable the following values:
    Second Auth
    Two-level authentication, ≤ 64 MB protected data.
    Countermeasures
DPA protection, refer to DPA Countermeasures.
    Inline ECC
If ILECC is also required on this controller.
  6. Click Data > Destinations.
  7. Click + beside the GCM controller's DDR channel:
    1. Enter a destination name (for example, mc_gcm).
    2. Set Size ≤ Maximum GCM data size.
    3. Check Mem.
    4. Click OK.
  8. Click Subsystems > default.
  9. Add a row (for example, mem_gcm):
    1. Set Destinations to mc_gcm.
    2. Set Access to gcm with desired key parameters.
    3. Set SMIDs to ANY.
    4. Click OK for each.
  10. Verify that Actual GCM data size and Available Memory after GCM and ECC in the /axi_noc2_N/ddrmc panel reflect the values you expect.
