The VCU2 decoder supports JPEG Baseline Profile with 12-bit Extension:
- Minimum image size 16×16 pixels
- Maximum image size 4096×4096 pixels
- Chroma Formats YCbCr 4:2:0, 4:2:2, and 4:4:4
- Bit Depth 8-bit and 12-bit per component
- Decoding process sequential (Baseline for 8-bit, Extended DCT-based subset for
12-bit).
Hierarchical/progressive decoding is not supported.
