The MIPI TX C-PHY/D-PHY defines four types of trigger commands. In escape mode, the MIPI DPHY applies Spaced-One-Hot bit encoding for asynchronous communication. Therefore, operation of a data lane in this mode does not depend on the clock lane. Trigger signaling is the mechanism to send a flag to the protocol at the receiving side, on request of the protocol on the transmitting side. So, data received after the trigger command is not interpreted by the core.
