The NMU can be configured to drive a single destination ID for any memory mapped AXI transaction, routing every transaction to the same destination regardless of the AXI address. This mode can be used to route virtually addressed transactions from an upstream master to a memory management unit such as the PS SMMU for address translation. Once the virtual address is translated to a physical address the transaction can be routed to destinations within the PS or re-injected into the NoC to be routed to other memories or NSUs.
