The following parameters are available in the set_test_case_params.m file.
- ext_data
- When enabled, the system reads the input signal from the ext_signal.txt file and the input index from
ext_index.txt file. Otherwise, the
system internally generates the input signal and input index. You can
provide your proprietary signal and index using the ext_signal.txt and ext_index.txt files. The number of samples in these files
must be greater than or equal to
sim_length. - user_termselection_en
- Enable it to select the term placement from
term_placementdefined in the nlf_config_default.m file. Otherwise, the system selects an internally generated random term placement. - ext_luts
- When enabled, the system takes LUT values from external_lut_values.mat file. Otherwise, the system uses
internally generated LUT values.
ext_lut_valuesis the 47x47x256 matrix saved as the external_lut_values.mat file. You can modify theext_lut_valuesmatrix to give specific LUT values and save it as the external_lut_values.mat file. A LUT corresponding to an active term has its 256 values along the position of that active term in the 47x47 matrix. - num_phases
- It represents the number of samples per clock cycle. Supported values are 1, 2, 3, and 4.
- use_double_grid
- Enable the
use_double_gridoption to use two grids. Enable it when terms do not fit in a single 16x16 grid. Enable it when terms do not fit in the 16 NLF units within one NLF block. The system supports the double grid feature only when there is 1 or 2 phases. - secondgrid_col_dist
- It is the horizontal distance between the two grids in the double grid configuration. It defines the signal delay between the grids. Supported values are 0 to 31.
- secondgrid_row_dist
- It is the vertical distance between the two grids in the double grid configuration. It defines the index delay between the grids. Supported values are 0 to 31.
- external_indexing
- Used to set the LUT indexing method. Set 1 to use external indexing or set
0 to use internal indexing. For external indexing, the index is taken from
ext_index.txt. The index uses the
magnitude of the input signal for internal indexing.
The configuration uses a double grid with a non-diagonal second grid. Signal delay and index delay between the two grids are not equal. The indexing mode must be external indexing.
- lut_axis_en
- This define the LUT access interface. When set to 0, the AXI4-Lite interface provides access to the LUTs. When set to 1, the dedicated AXI4-Stream interface accesses the LUTs.
- nlf_out_scale
- It is the NLF block output scaling. Scale the NLF block output by 2^(nlf_out_scale). This increases the output dynamic range. Supported values are 0 to 12, default value = 5.
- cascade_output_bitsel
- Selects the output bits in double grid configurations. It has no use in
single grid configurations. Use this parameter to increase the dynamic range
of output signal in double grid configurations.
When 0: NLF_IP_output = saturate(sum_of_two_NLF_blocks_outputs(24 downto 0))
When 1: NLF_IP_output = sum_of_two_NLF_blocks_outputs(25 downto 1)
- gain_test
- Reserved for internal testing and set to 0.
- overflow_test
- Reserved for internal testing and set to 0.
