The DFE_NLF_IP_CoSim_v1_1_0 Co-Simulation Environment is a MATLAB-based software package that co-simulates the DFE_NLF AMD LogiCORE™ IP. A user-friendly MATLAB script provides the input parameters. Co-simulation has three steps:
- Generating test vectors. In this step, the system generates test case directories
for each input case. These directories contain the following files:
- MATLAB model simulation results (golden reference)
- Files necessary for running the behavioral simulation using the Vivado simulator
- Running the behavioral simulation using the AMD Vivado™ simulator. The second step is running the Vivado behavioral simulator using a pre-configured test bench. This dumps the necessary files for comparison with the golden reference.
- Analyzing the result. The last step involves computing the error by comparing the Vivado simulation output data with the golden reference data. The system generates a test report. The following figure shows the DFE NLF Co-Sim flow.
