The DFE NLF Co-Simulation environment (Co-Sim) provides you with a better understanding of configuring the DFE NLF IP. The Co-Sim environment allows you to run the pre-synthesis behavioral simulation for a selected NLF core configuration. When you are programming the core in the pre-synthesis simulation, it is saved onto a shell script. This script can be run on the NLF reference design to program the core on the actual silicon. This enables you to replicate the performance observed in MATLAB® fixed-point model in the pre-synthesis behavioral simulation, and eventually on silicon as well.
