It is possible to combine removal and addition into a single step. This process follows a similar sequence as above, namely getting the existing CC and RC configuration, and then adjusting it via addition and removal to achieve the desired configuration of CCIDs and RCIDs. This complete configuration is then loaded into the core and triggered as described previously.
If performing simultaneous addition and removal, care should be taken that the set of removed RCIDs does not intersect with the set of added RCIDs. Doing this can lead to unexpected data output on the intersecting channels. The best practice is to remove the RCID in one update and then perform an addition in a subsequent update.
