Setting Custom Alignment Length

To use custom alignment length, set c*_ctl_rx_use_custom_vl_length_minus1 to 1, where * is the port number. The custom alignment length is specified in ctl_rx_custom_vl_length_minus1 for RX and ctl_tx_custom_vl_length_minus1 for TX. The definition for the signal depends on the operating mode. In 100G, it is alignment length - 1 in 66b words per PCS lane. In 100G, the default value is 16383. In 200G and 400G, it is the number of FEC codewords. In 200G, the default value is 4096 and in 400G, it is 8192.

Setting Custom Alignment Marker

To use custom alignment marker, set c*_ctl_rx_use_custom_vl_marker_ids to 1, where * is the port number. The custom alignment marker IDs is specified in ctl_vl_marker_id0 to ctl_vl_marker_id19. The meaning of each signal is dependent on the operating mode.
