The MCAP Vendor Specific Header Register provides the identification number, revision number, and length of the MCAP VSEC. These fields are populated with appropriate values when the PCI Express core is generated. The following table describes the fields within the MCAP Vendor Specific Header Register. The fields in this register are defined by PCI-SIG and are standard as per the PCIe Extended Cap Header Register (0x00).
