For CBCAM, in a chosen configuration, the table management can be performed through either the HW Update Interface or AXI4-Lite slave (SW) interface, but not through both. Mixing these two ports for table management in the same configuration could result in unexpected behavior. A complete entry (key, response) can be transferred in a single cycle over the HW Update Interface. The insert/update/delete operation takes multiple cycles to perform. The cbcam_insert/cbcam_update/cbcam_delete API is used for hardware managed mode.
