In the transmit (outbound) direction, data is presented to the AXI4-Stream interface by the user logic for handling by the
MRMAC
subsystem. There are two possible AXI
configurations set by the port's MODE_REG register:
- Non-segmented
- Segmented
The handshaking and signaling is different for each configuration.
