The NoC has built in performance monitoring. There are performance monitors in the NoC components (NMU, NSU, NPS), DDRMC NSU ports, and inside the DDRMCs. Performance monitoring uses no fabric resources.

In the NMU / NSU, there is a monitor for each direction.

In the DDR memory controllers, there are monitors in the NSU for each direction. There are also monitors for overall channel performance.
