Generating Vitis Application Software for KCU116 SMPTE UHD-SDI Audio-Video Loopback Design without AXI4-Lite - Generating Vitis Application Software for KCU116 SMPTE UHD-SDI Audio-Video Loopback Design without AXI4-Lite - 2.0 English - PG290

1. Open Vitis IDE.
2. Select New Platform Component.
   
   
3. Set the preferred component name and location to create the platform component, then click Next.
   
   
4. Select the Hardware Design option and click Browse to navigate the XSA file from the design. Click Next.
   
   
5. Click Next.
   
   
6. Click Finish.
7. To build/generate the platform, click Build.
   
   
8. Go to File > New Component > Application.
   
   
9. Set an application component name, set the component location, and click Next.
   
   
10. Select Platform, click the platform generated, and click Next.
    
    
11. Click Next twice and click Finish.
12. The application source files can be found in the following Vitis directory: (<install_directory>)/(<release>)/data/embeddedsw/XilinxProcessorIPLib/drivers/v_sdirxss_v3_4/examples/kcu116_xuhdsdi_example. Import all the files provided inside the kcu116_xuhdsdi_example directory.
13. Under the Application component, go to src > Import > Files.
    
    
14. Click Build.
    
    

The example application is built and a .elf file is ready to use.
