This appendix provides a feature comparison of the AXI SmartConnect v1.0 core with the AXI Interconnect v2.1 core (as used in the AMD Vivado™ Design Suite). It also contains migration guidance for upgrading from the AXI Interconnect v2.1 core.
The AXI SmartConnect v1.0 core is intended as a drop-in replacement for the AXI Interconnect v2.1 core in all applications.
There is no migration automation available to convert a design using the AXI Interconnect v2.1 core.
