The Video Mixer uses industry standard control and data interfaces to connect to other system components. The following sections describe the various interfaces available with the core. The following figure illustrates a Video Mixer I/O diagram. In this configuration, the IP has 10 AXI interfaces:

The interfaces change depending on the number of layers and layer type, that is, streaming or memory based. For example, the following figure shows a minimum configuration of the Video Mixer IP with only one layer and a logo layer.
