The Video Mixer uses industry standard control and data interfaces to connect to other system components. The following sections describe the various interfaces available with the core. This Figure illustrates a Video Mixer I/O diagram. In this configuration, the IP has 10 AXI interfaces:
• AXI4-Lite control interface ( s_axi_CTRL )
• AXI4-Stream streaming video output ( m_axis_video )
• AXI4-Stream streaming video input ( s_axis_video , s_axis_video1 , etc.)
• Memory mapped AXI4 interface ( m_axi_mm_video4 , m_axi_mm_video5 , etc.).
The interfaces change depending on the number of layers and layer type, that is, streaming or memory based. For example, This Figure shows a minimum configuration of the Video Mixer IP with only one layer and a logo layer.
