  1. Set up the hardware connections as shown in the following figure.

    1. Mount the OmniVision OS12D40 MIPI-FMC camera sensor module on the VEK385 board FMC slot.
    2. Connect the IMX715 camera sensor module to the OmniVision OS12D40 MIPI-FMC camera sensor module through the J7 camera port using the Micro-Coax Cable (I-PEX).
    3. Connect the HDMI cable to the VEK385 HDMI port.

    4. Connect the other end of the  HDMI cable to the HDMI monitor.
    5. Switch on the HDMI monitor, and select  HDMI as input source.
    6. Connect the USB-JTAG programming cable from host PC to JTAG type-C USB port of board.
    7. Ensure that the SD card, board switches and jumpers are in position as shown in the following figure. Connect the USB UART and JTAG programming cables to the Windows host computer where xsdb and hw_server is running.

  2. Connect the power supply cable and turn on the VEK385 board.
  3. Start a Hyper Terminal program on the host PC with the following settings:
    • Baud rate: 115200
    • Data Bits: 8
    • Parity: None
    • Stop Bits: 1
    • Flow Control: None
      Note: Ensure that Vadj is set to 1.2V. Refer to the VEK385 board documentation for details.
