Unlike Ethernet, Interlaken requires that TX and RX lanes maintain the correct
ordering. Note that lane alignment can still be achieved even if lanes are swapped.
The reason is that the alignment marker is the same for each lane. Furthermore, even
with lanes swapped, the CRC32 might be correct provided that signal integrity is
good.
Note: Lane swapping is often indicated by
a CRC24 error while data is being sent.
