The UART Interface is a UART helper block that serializes and de-serializes the byte-stream ASCII codes used by the Monitor Interface. The helper block uses a standard serial communication protocol and is compatible to a standard RS-232 port, or to USB through a USB-to-UART bridge. For more information, see UART Interface.
