The IP catalog core update feature can be used to update an existing CIC Compiler XCO file to version v4.0 of the CIC Compiler core. The core can then be regenerated to create a new netlist. Refer to the Vivado IP catalog documentation for more information on this feature. The update mechanism alone does not create a core compatible with v2.0. Refer to Instructions for Minimum Change Migration. CIC Compiler v4.0 has additional parameters for AXI4-Stream support. The following table shows the changes to XCO parameters from v3.0 and v4.0 have identical XCI parameters, ports, latency and behavior.
