The TPG v8.0 has additional fid_in and fid ports which help in
enable interlaced video support. In generator mode, the TPG generates fid to be sent
to the external IP and in passthrough mode, the input fid to the IP via external IP,
connected to fid_in is sent to external IP using the fid port. The
connections to be made can be seen in the following figure.
