- If using the AXI4-Stream interface,
make sure the data is written correctly. The most common mistake is to assume words
are written without monitoring
tvalid . Also
remember that the tkeep signal must be used to
indicate which bytes are valid when tlast is
asserted. tkeep is ignored when tlast is not asserted (active-High).
- Make sure to read correctly from the RX interface. Data
and framing signals are only valid when
tvalid is asserted.
- If you still see bytes/words being lost on the receiver
side, check the GT receiver output data interface. If you notice that data is
already lost at the GT receiver output interface, the issue could be caused by GT or
any earlier stage in the system.
