The radiation tolerant (RT) AMD Versal™ XQR devices are the industry's first adaptive SoCs, combining customized, heterogeneous hardware solutions for a wide variety of space-flight applications. Versal XQR adaptive SoCs extend the benefits of commercial silicon with ruggedized organic packaging and full M-grade operating temperature range support. They are production tested to either the AMD class B flow or the AMD class Y flow. Radiation effects are characterized for total ionizing dose and single-event effects. Versal AI Core XQR devices contain transformational features like an integrated silicon host interconnect shell and AI and DSP engines, programmable logic, and processing system, providing superior performance/watt over conventional FPGAs, CPUs, and GPUs. The high-compute Versal AI Core XQR devices include high density programmable logic and connectivity capability coupled with AI and DSP acceleration engines and next-generation transceivers combined with ruggedized packaging to handle vibration during launch and thermal cycles in orbit. The Versal AI Core XQR devices delivers high performance, low latency AI inference for multi-mission payloads in space.Unlimited on-orbit reconfiguration allows Versal XQR adaptive SoCs to target space applications such as on-board processing, digital payloads, and remote sensing, enabling high-volume data processing and autonomous decision-making in flight. The AMD Space Secure Site provides access to design guidelines and resources specific to space applications. This data sheet is part of an overall set of documentation on the Versal architecture-based devices available on the AMD website at https://docs.amd.com.
