In addition, there are dedicated documents that specifically talk about the transceiver design and the design of the analog subsystem (in 7 series referred to as XADC). Different devices can have different transceiver types available. 7 Series FPGAs GTX/GTH Transceivers User Guide (UG476) outlines the requirements for GTX/GTH transceivers including things like decoupling and critical routing interfaces. 7 Series FPGAs GTP Transceivers User Guide (UG482) outlines these requirements for GTP transceivers.
