There are two address maps:
- 4 GB processor system address map
- 256 TB network on chip (NoC) interconnect address map
4 GB Address Map
The 4 GB address space is divided into these spaces:
- 0x0000_0000: DDR memory controller (2046 MB)
- 0x7Fxx_0000 alias to up to 2 MB of OCM memory
-
0x8000_0000 (2 GB):
- Individual register modules, local memories, miscellaneous access ports, and small windows in the interfaces directly from the processing system to the programmable logic
- Destinations in the various integrated hardware
NoC Interconnect Address Map
The NoC interconnect address map includes memories, groups of memory-mapped register modules, ports to the PL, subsystems attached to the NoC interconnect, and other functionality. It covers the entire memory space of the device. The overall address map lists the firewalls and pathways from various subsystems in the PMC and PSXC.
Firewalls
Destinations are protected by a firewall, which is usually a memory protection unit (XMPU) or a peripheral protection unit (XPPU). In some cases, the aperture number (a) within a protection unit is included in the table.
