When a device has multiple super logic regions (SLRs), only the voltage measurements in the master SLR's have full functionality. The PMC_SYSMON_CSR registers located in the master SLR will only report voltage measurement that reside in the master SLR. As a result, I2C/PMBUS interaction is limited to reporting only voltage measurement for supplies enabled in the master SLR. Access to Slave SLR sysmon registers are available using the PMC1_alias, PMC2_alias, PMC2_alias offsets provided access is present (i.e., PMC to PMC NOC paths are enabled).
Temperature readings for SSI devices require special considerations. The DEVICE_TEMP, DEVICE_TEMP_MAX, and DEVICE_TEMP_MIN registers only store temperature information related to the master SLR. For current temperature readings across all SLRS, the FULL_DEVICE_TEMP register must be used. For designs created prior to 2023.1, the FULL_DEVICE_TEMP register is not available. The FULL_DEVICE_TEMP is populated by the Platform Logic Manager and provides the highest temperature across all SLRs. OT alarm responses will propegate across SLRs, but other temperature based alarms will only consider the master SLR.
