This window allows you to customize the IP, with the following parameters:
- 800G Port Instances
- You can choose to have one, two, or three ports for which the IP uses two, three, or four DCMACs respectively for your design. Depending on the Versal Premium device you use, the number of ports available for selection and implementation in the Vivado GUI changes.
- DCMAC Placement Constraints
- You can choose to have Auto or None. Auto means the IP generates LOC constraints that place all the DCMACs in a pre defined area to guarantee that the IP meets timing. None means the IP does not generate any constraints and the designer is free to choose where the DCMACs are positioned with no guarantee that this will meet timing.
