Set or modify the Tuning Mode, Control Mode, and EXPO controls to tune all your hardware at once using the System settings tab.

Tuning Mode

The available tuning modes are:

  • Default
  • Auto Overclock: Is a combination of PBO Advanced and EXPO (if supported).
  • Custom: Available only if you select Eco Mode, AMD Spec, PBO, PBO Advanced, or Manual as the Control mode.

Control Mode

Use these settings to control CPU operation mode. Available modes are:

  • Default: You can change the system value to stock values only in this mode.
  • Eco Mode: You can perform all supported operations except changing CPU frequency, Peak Core(s) Voltage, PPT, TDC, EDC limits, and changing control mode.
  • AMD Spec: Enables you to adjust PBO parameters (PPT, TDC, EDC) up to but not exceeding the AMD spec limits.
  • PBO: The Precision Boost Overdrive mode allows the processor to run beyond the default infrastructure limits up to the limits of the board to potentially achieve higher sustained frequencies.
  • PBO Advanced: Sets a maximum boost frequency higher than the stock frequency.
  • Manual: Changing Control Mode to Manual will require additional settings to be made and you will be redirected to CPU Tuning settings. There, you can manually adjust the frequency, voltage and other parameters in a precise and direct manner to overclock.
