In multi-SLR devices, each SLR will have the Device Temperature registers DEVICE_TEMP, DEVICE_TEMP_MIN, and DEVICE_TEMP_MAX.

In the 2023.1 release and previous versions, there was no communication available between SLRs due to the CIPS and PLM.

When reading the DEVICE_TEMP, DEVICE_TEMP_MIN, and DEVICE_TEMP_MAX registers, they will only be accurate for the primary SLR and the overall device temperatures can be 30°C higher.

As the PMBus/I2C interface in Versal is to the primary SLR Sysmon, this also means that the values read via PMBus/I2C will only be accurate for the primary SLR and the overall device temperatures can be 30°C higher.

Note: the OT alarm functions correctly as it operates on a per SLR basis. If the temperature of the device reaches the OT on any SLR, the Error Management will issue the Error Response, in which case the default programming is to issue a SRST.
