The petalinux-boot --qemu
command boots the
MicroBlaze™
CPU, AMD Zynq™
UltraScale+™ MPSoC, AMD Versal™
adaptive SoC, or Zynq 7000 devices with a PetaLinux
image using the QEMU emulator. Many QEMU options require superuser (root) access to
operate properly. The --root
option enables root mode
and prompts you for sudo credentials.
Note: For Versal
adaptive SoC, you require BOOT.BIN to boot on QEMU. Check petalinux-package on how to create BOOT.BIN for Versal adaptive SoC.
