To generate a VCD file with select signals, in the Run Settings dialog box in
the Vitis IDE, specify a user simulation options file in the
Additional Arguments field, as in, --option-file=<user_sim_options.txt>. The following
figure shows how to specify the user simulation options file in order to generate a
selective VCD.
