ML strategies are not generated by report_qor_suggestions if the required implementation flow in the reference run has not been run. The ML Strategy Availability table, shown in the following figure, checks off each required implementation step.

The flow requirements are as follows:
  • The opt_design command must be run with the directive Explore or Default.
    Note: More than one call to opt_design is allowed, but the final call must meet this condition.
  • The remaining implementation directives must be either all set to Default or all set to Explore. Mix and match of these implementation steps is not permitted.
  • The phys_opt_design command must be enabled
  • The design must be routed.
