Several attributes are used by power estimation tools. These power-only attributes are set by the DCMAC Subsystem IP Wizard based on parameters that you choose. These power-only attributes are not controlled through the AXI4-Lite interface. Furthermore, these attributes have no impact on the functional behavior of the DCMAC Subsystem.
Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
LANE_CONNECTIVITY | String | Reserved. |
MAC_ACTIVITY_FACTOR | Real | User prediction of how active the MAC will be in their application. What percentage of clock cycles is data passing through the MAC (i.e., MAC interface enabled). |
NUM_100G_FEC_NOPCS_PORTS | Integer | Number of ports running at 100 Gb/s that include an operational FEC, but no operational PCS. When MAC and PCS are working independently, this is PHY (i.e., FEC) only. When MAC and PHY are coupled together, this does not apply. |
NUM_100G_PCS_NOFEC_PORTS | Integer | Number of ports running at 100 Gb/s that include an operational PCS, but no operational FEC. When MAC and PCS are working independently, this is PHY (i.e., PCS) only. When MAC and PHY are coupled together, this is MAC+PHY. |
NUM_100G_PCS_WITH_FEC_PORTS | Integer | Number of ports running at 100 Gb/s that include an operational PCS (or additional logic, like FlexO or 128GFC, beyond simply FEC-only Encode/Decode) and operational FEC. When MAC and PCS are working independently, this is PHY (PCS+FEC) only. When MAC and PHY are coupled together, this is MAC+PHY. |
NUM_200G_PORTS | Integer | Number of ports running at 200 Gb/s. When MAC and PCS are working independently, this is PHY (PCS/FEC) only. When MAC and PHY are coupled together, this is MAC+PHY. |
NUM_400G_PORTS | Integer | Number of ports running at 400 Gb/s. When MAC and PCS are working independently, this is PHY (PCS/FEC) only. When MAC and PHY are coupled together, this is MAC+PHY. |
NUM_50G_FEC_NOPCS_PORTS | Integer | Number of ports running at 50 Gb/s. When MAC and PCS are working independently, this is PHY (i.e., FEC) only. When MAC and PHY are coupled together, this does not apply. |
RXMAC_ACTIVE | Integer | Indicates that the receive MAC is active. Can only be set to 0 when the MAC and PCS are working independently. |
TXMAC_ACTIVE | Integer | Indicates that the transmit MAC is active. Can only be set to 0 when the MAC and PCS are working independently. |
