CDBCAM content can be updated using
the insert, update, and
delete commands. With default clock frequencies,
insert performance for UPDATE_MODE set to hardware content update varies between 0.5 and
1.5 million inserts per second, with low limit being associated with CDBCAM being almost full. Delete and update
performance is not sensitive to the Load Factor (the level at which the CDBCAM is full).
For UPDATE_MODE set to software content updates, insert, delete, and update performance are not sensitive to the Load Factor, but are dependent on CPU power and memory to which software has access.
